We are proud to support and raise funds for JDRF UK to support their vital research to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
JDRF is the world’s leading charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research, dedicating over £1 billion to research projects across the globe, to improve the lives of people living with the condition until we find the cure.

This day is extremely close to EGC’s heart . . .
The EGC team, Director Laura McDonald and her sister, Events Manager Helen Hutchinson, sadly lost their father Peter suddenly in April last year.
Peter had lived with Diabetes type 1 for over 40 years and his condition significantly impacted his health.
Since his passing, both Laura and Helen have committed to fundraising for JDRF in their father’s memory.
Laura joined the committee to support the JDRF London Ball and Helen ran the Great North Run on behalf of JDRF.
Joining us will be Toby Flood and Geordan Murphy, ex-international Rugby players for England and Ireland.
These legends of the game will be answering all your questions in a live Q&A.

ITINERARY FOR THE DAY 8.30am:
Registration opens. Full English breakfast and gift bag on arrival.
10.30am: Shotgun. On course entertainment. Half way house refreshments.
4.45pm: Evening dinner compared by comedian Aaron James. Three course dinner and auction. Live QA with ex- international England Rugby legends. Prize presentation.
9pm onwards: Carriages. Any guests wishing to stay on move to main hotel bar.
